Keeping your installation safe and compliant
Employers and those in control of commercial premises must make sure electrical systems are maintained so they don’t cause danger. Periodic inspection and testing is the usual way to demonstrate this. An Electrical Installation Condition Report (EICR) records the condition of your fixed wiring and identifies anything that is unsafe or needs improvement. Recommended intervals depend on the type of building and how it is used, and we can advise on what is appropriate for your premises.
Lighting that works better and costs less to run
Upgrading older fluorescent fittings to LED is one of the simplest improvements you can make to a workplace. Modern LED panels give even, flicker-free light, last much longer and use significantly less energy. We can replace fittings like for like or combine the upgrade with a ceiling refresh as part of a wider office refurbishment.
Minimal disruption
Because electrical work often means isolating circuits, we plan it carefully and can carry it out early, late, overnight or at weekends when needed so your systems, tills and IT stay available when you need them. A risk assessment and method statement is provided before we start, and test certificates are issued where required.
Electrical testing and emergency lighting checks can also be scheduled as part of a planned maintenance contract alongside gas servicing and air conditioning maintenance.
